To make a difference in people’s lives you don’t have to be wealthy or famous you just have to care.  The Lenten season gives us an opportunity to reflect on how we treat others in our community.  A group of Year 10 students Miley Cox, Marley Marriott, Ruby Polson and Tessa Rourke plus Mr Hanlon certainly showed their caring concern for those struggling in the wider community preparing and serving 90 meals at the Community Kitchen.  The day was hot but the student’s happy faces and their preparedness to interact with the clients plus the Valentines Day chocolates bought smiles to the faces of those attending.  I am constantly amazed by the positive attitudes of the students and it restores my faith that the students of St Clare’s know the true meaning of putting others before themselves.
