Last week 30 Year 10 students from the ASPIRE Science class and from the STEM class went to MidCoast Christian College to partake in the annual Science and Engineering Challenge.  Throughout the day the students were asked to put their thinking caps on and solve a variety of problems like building a bridge to hold the most weight, paper rockets to see which one went the furthest, or building a bionic hand to grab many different objects.  Overall, the kids had a great day out and can’t wait to do it again next year.
