Year 7 Transforms Room 7 into Pop-Up Museum of Ancient Rome and Egypt
On Monday, 6 May, Year 7 students transformed Room 7 into a vibrant pop-up museum featuring displays of Ancient Rome and Egypt. Held during lunchtime, the event attracted students and teachers who were impressed by the detailed replica artifacts.
History 7.4 students, who are studying Ancient Rome, showcased models of iconic structures like the Colosseum, as well as shields and daggers (pugios). History 7.6 students, focusing on Ancient Egypt, displayed a range of artefacts, including models of the Pyramids, canopic jars, cartouches and a recreation of other burial equipment.
The event was a celebration of the students' hard work and creativity. Miss Van Wyk, the Year 7 History teacher, praised the students' dedication and enthusiasm.
