Year 7-4 Food Technology

 

Year 7-4 Food Technology students have learnt how to do simple egg recipes three ways. 

Egg in a cloud consists of a fluffed egg white baked in the oven for several minutes then topped with an egg yolk and baked again.  

Pan fried scrambled eggs - done simply with egg, salt and pepper.  Topped with chives, cheese and oven baked prosciutto crumble, served with panfried Warrigal greens and French Sorrel. 

Microwave simple scrambled eggs with egg, salt and pepper, served with Warrigal greens and French Sorrel. 

It was discussed with students that these simple recipes can be extended with many different items.  Some ideas are cream, milk, bacon, mushrooms, capsicum and corn to name a few.
