Pope Francis said, "When you forget yourself and think of others, this is love!”  This week St Clare's staff and students certainly put these words into practice.  On Monday four teachers, as part of the staff Spirituality Day, Jessica Bennett, Simon Basile, Rebecca Harris and Courtney Van Kampen engaged with the clients at the Community Kitchen serving 200 nutritious meals to the needy in our community.

On Wednesday the Year 10 students Lily Nicolaou, Mia Tresidder, Luciana Hartley, Sarah Allen and Mrs Ryan prepared, served and cleaned the kitchen which involved copious washing up and it was all done with a smile on their faces.  The clients love having the students in the kitchen and their friendly faces and conversation always puts a smile on their faces and makes their day.  The students served 190 meals.  Well done staff and students.  These are examples of putting your faith into action.
