I saw this in a magazine and thought how true this statement is:  “Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.”  This was reflected in the actions of the Year 11 students who volunteered at the Community Kitchen.  Liviah-Rose King, Jessica Foley, Charlotte Mackie and Island Rosamond together with Mr Koenig created 188 nutritious meals for those in need in our community.  As well the way the students interacted with the diners was amazing.  Every person left the kitchen with a hot meal and a bag of goodies and a smile on their face because these students showed them, they were important and cared for.  Thank you, St Clare’s for being part of the volunteer program at the kitchen and for giving students the opportunity to work out of their comfort zone.
