Prayer Point: Christmas Day – 25 December
“The Word was made flesh,
he lived among us,
and we saw his glory,
the glory that is his as the only Son of the Father,
full of grace and truth.” John 1
Can I explain the John’s complex theology in Chapter 1 (let alone the whole Gospel)!
The essential that we can meditate on is this: The Cosmic Word, through whom the universe was created, became human in Jesus of Nazareth.
Human. Just like us.
How and why did that happen? All I know in my heart is that it was done, and is done, out of cosmic love for me.
Have a wonderful Christmas and I pray that Jesus will be reborn in our hearts this year, and that we’ll be conscious of that.
