Year 7 2025 Orientation Day
On Friday 8 November 2024, 115 students from schools all around the district took part in the St Clare’s Year 7 Orientation day. Students were introduced to staff and became more familiar with the layout of the school and our expectations. Throughout the day, students were led by senior students and participated in a variety of activity lessons. These lessons included Drama with Mrs Pearse, PDHPE with Mr Curtis, Art with Mrs Laurie, Science with Mr Collins, Food Technology with Mr Laurent and Timber with Mr Hutchison.
At lunch students were provided with a sausage sizzle, access to the canteen and many were playing basketball with the older students. All students engaged well and appeared to enjoy themselves thoroughly.
I was impressed by the attitude and participation of students on the day and can’t wait to see you all next year.
