St Clare’s Swimming Carnival 2025
Conditions for the event this year were warm which reflected in the participation rate for each House. Congratulations to Gordon on claiming the overall title! A combination of highly competitive swims and significant participation rates from the boys and girls in the House was once again the recipe for success as well as the addition of Mr Ian Evans the Gordon House Patron!
There were additional participation activities to add to the fun atmosphere of the day including House chants. Year 11 Sports House Captains were praiseworthy in their leadership of the students for their House encouraging members to continue to participate throughout the day swimming, singing, dancing which led to a day that students and staff were able to enjoy.
This leadership continues to build our sporting house culture and is what makes our event unique.

A huge thank you is extended to the Taree Torpedoes Mr Ian Smith for the time, resources and his expertise. Thanks also to the Manning Aquatic Leisure Centre for presenting a wonderful facility.
The work of all staff to ensure the day runs smoothly is appreciated from starting, timekeeping, marshalling, catering, supervising and everything in between.
To the parents/carers and families able to attend the event, thank you. A significant sense of community on the day is created by the support of parents/carers and families. And it is fantastic to be able to welcome our new families each year as well as those who continue to support the event, thank you.
