An interesting quote I read the other day relates well to the involvement of St Clare’s staff and students at the Community Kitchen.  The quote is “The best feeling of happiness is when you’re happy because you’re made someone else happy”.  This is certainly what happened at the Community Kitchen.  The bright, cheery, friendly faces of the students, as they prepared and served the patrons, made their day and for a short time enabled them to forget their plight.  Many diners commented how wonderful it was to see the youth volunteering helping others.  Congratulations Oliver Collins, Jake Guppy, Shiloh Herzberg Nicholls, Rylee Wicks and Mrs Ryan for stepping out of your comfort zone and being the face of Jesus in the community.  Over 140 meals were served to those in need.
