I would like to thank all the people, students and staff who helped with the St Clare's Feast Day last Friday, 29 August. 

It was a huge effort, and everyone is to be congratulated on their efforts and participation. 

We started the day with two talks. 

• Alison Penfold and Jordan Martyn who are past students and talked about the role St Clare's played in shaping their pathway. A huge thank you to them both for taking time out of their very busy schedules to present to the students.
• Dominic Drumore who is working with the Diocese as their Youth Ministry Engagement person. He was fantastic and the students were very impressed with his message and encouragement. 

We celebrated Mass after recess with Father Kevin Corrigan, Father John Lovell (in Father John Vo's absence) and Deacon Vince Ryan.  The students were respectful, and the music was beautiful - thanks to the music students and their teachers Amanda Brooks and Victoria Merillo.  Thanks also to Nicole Lovern for operating the PowerPoint and Ben Gibbs for setting up the technology for the day. 

The various stalls were set up before and during lunchtime and the students participated in many of the activities over the course of the afternoon. 

There were many students who went above and beyond in helping with this.  Thanks to Danya our Food Tech assistant for purchasing our supplies for the day. 

We raised a total of $2,100 which is fantastic – thank you! 

Hopefully, next year will see even greater student numbers participating.
