The central purpose of assessment is to provide information on student achievements and progress and set directions for ongoing teaching and learning.  Accordingly, Year 7 science students have now completed their first formal assessment task.  The practical task required students to show evidence of their learning of scientific methodology, observation, measurement and recording, while displaying safe manipulation of equipment.
