Fast 5’s Gala Day

On Friday, 23 April, Year 11 students represented the school in the Fast 5’s Netball gala day which was held at the Manning Valley Netball Association.  St Clare’s High School had two sides compete on the day both showing amazing skills and sportsmanship throughout the competition.  Our pink side went through undefeated taking out first place and our blue squad following closely behind in second place.

Congratulations to Madison Paine of Year 9 for being selected in the NSWCCC 15’s Netball side. Madison took part in the State Selections in Sydney on 27 April which comprised of over 100 girls from Catholic schools across the state.  Well done Madison.

Hastings School Futsal Title

On Tuesday, 27 April, the U19’s boys Futsal team travelled to Port Macquarie for the Hastings School Futsal Title.  The boys were competitive in all their matches, having a win against Taree High and a draw against Hastings Secondary College.  Unfortunately, this was not enough to progress to the semi-finals after a few narrow losses.  All matches were played in excellent spirit as these young men did themselves and St Clare’s proud.  It was a pleasure to coach them for the day, well done on a fantastic effort!
