This semester Year 7.2 History enjoyed working together to share their research and creativity with peers.  This week we are learning about aspects of Ancient China and students are working individually or in teams on a topic of their choice.  It has been a pleasure to work with these wonderful students.  What a great start they have made here at St Clare’s.

This week students choose one of the following topics and will present their creative product!

• Belief Systems of Ancient China: Poster and Rap or Rhyme.
• A diary entry (maximum 1 page in length): Imagine you are Lei Tzu, wife of the Emperor and incorporate the following information into a diary entry:

1. Describe in detail your incredible discovery of silk
2. Describe how you created silk
3. Explain what silk was used for in Ancient China
4. Assess the future impact of your discovery of silk on Ancient Chinese society
5. Include one hand-drawn image

• Using your computer and images, create an advertisement to attract tourists to visit the museum of the terracotta warriors. (150 words)
