Throughout each year of their high school journey, our current Year 12s have established a special project to support the community – this was achieved through the action of collecting tins of soup to be handed over to St Vincent de Paul.  Each year, Deacon Vince Ryan is able to use these donations to support families in our local area, and in this act, show the face of Christ to those in need.  The generosity of this group and their families have continued this year, and a stock-pile of around 230 tins have been collected.  It is a small action, but the outcome is beyond important to those they impact.

As this cohort concludes their journey at St Clare’s, it is heartening to appreciate that they’ve given their community over 1600 meals across their time.  The hope is that as they move through their own lives they will continue to show care to those in need and prioritise social justice commitments.
