Year 12 Trial HSC Examinations

Year 12 Trial HSC Examinations will be held from Monday, 9 August to Monday, 23 August 2021.

Expectations:

  • Students will NOT BE REQUIRED TO BE AT SCHOOL unless they have an examination scheduled – duty of care resides with the parent/carer when student is not at school (attendance at school for study purposes when a student is not sitting an examination is permitted but normal expectations of students will still exist with respect to uniform, behaviour and obtaining leave); 
  • If a student has a morning AND an afternoon examination, that student is to REMAIN AT SCHOOL where supervised study will be provided; 
  • STUDENT USE OF PRIVATE MOTOR VEHICLES POLICY applies at all times; 
  • Arrive at the examination centre at least 15 minutes before each examination (20 minutes for large examinations such as RE/English/Maths); 
  • Depart from examination only on dismissal at END OF SHEDULED TIME; 
  • Wear FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM and wear it CORRECTLY in all examinations; 
  • Water may be taken in CLEAR COLOURLESS plastic bottles; 
  • PENCIL CASES/BAGS are to remain outside the examination room; 
  • MOBILE PHONES and ADVANCED DIGITAL DEVICES must be turned off and left outside the examination room; 
  • WRIST WATCHES must be removed in examination room (may be placed on desk); 
  • No paper to be brought into the examination room – answer booklets will be provided; 
  • Ensure you have all required equipment for examination as there will be no borrowing from other students or supervisors – this equipment is to be in a clear plastic sleeve; 
  • Only students’ personal belongings to be removed from the examination room (all question, stimulus, answer and unused papers to be left on the examination desk); 
  • Consult the EXAMINATION SUPERVISOR regarding medication prior to examination commencing; 
  • Be aware that offensive comments may lead to an award of ZERO marks; 
  • RING the school (6552 3300) regarding illness or misadventure by 9:00 am on examination day, then obtain and submit an Illness & Misadventure Form available from the office; 
  • Any Examination missed will need to be done at the first available time within the Examination Block; expect to complete two exams per day; and 
  • Normal classes for Year 12 students will resume on Tuesday, 24 August 2021.

 

Trial HSC Examinations Timetable

Year 12 Trial HSC Examinations commence on Monday, 9 August 2021 and continue for 11 school days with the final examinations being on Monday, 23 August 2021.  Normal classes resume for all students on Tuesday, 24 August 2021.

All examinations have 5 minutes reading time unless otherwise stated.

All examinations will be held in the Room 23,24,25 unless otherwise stated.

TAFE and SBAT exams will be timetabled separately within this examination period.

All examinations start at 9 am

Afternoon Session –

All examinations start at 1:30 pm
