Dear Parents & Friends of St Clare’s

I hope our Week 4 Newsletter finds you and your family safe, happy and well.  While the pandemic continues to have a significant impact on people around our state, I am pleased to report that the learning environment at St Clare’s continues to offer your sons and daughters many opportunities for intellectual, physical, spiritual, social and emotional growth as they move through each school day.

The old adage that every challenge brings opportunity is at play on a daily basis and it is each individual’s responsibility to help those around them to make the most of life’s opportunities when they arise.  At St Clare’s we do this by bringing routine and certainty into the lives of our people and offering support to those in our care.  In this way, we give witness to the Vision and Mission of the Catholic Church and encourage resilience and spiritual growth within our school community.

We know that when students, parents and teachers collaborate great things happen.

Below you will find reference to a Digital Distraction and Study Tool Kit.  We know that online devices have enhanced many aspects of our lives.  We also know that phones and other devices can offer distractions and disruptions to an otherwise healthy lifestyle.  I recommend that you work through the issues raised in the kit with your family and I thank colleague, Phill Carney for his work in this area of school life.
