Prayer Point: 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time – 19 September
“Wherever you find jealousy and ambition,
you find disharmony,
and wicked things of every kind being done;”
Contrast that with this:
“…whereas the wisdom that comes down from above is essentially something pure;
it also makes for peace, and is kindly and considerate;
it is full of compassion and shows itself by doing good;
nor is there any trace of partiality or hypocrisy in it ….”
James 3:16 - 4:3
This is the world in which we live. You can see jealousy, ambition and disharmony on one side. But just as readily you can see ‘something pure’ on the other.
Have a great few weeks.

COVID-19 and Pope Francis I
I have listed below two website addresses. Both sites show Pope Francis in prayer.
In the first clip he prays for all families who are suffering in the pandemic:
In the second he prays for an end to COVID-19:
I hope you can download them and spend some time with Pope Francis in prayer.
