Year 12 Biology
During the holidays, the Year 12 Biology students had the task of making a model to demonstrate polypeptide synthesis. Polypeptide synthesis is a very important process that happens in our cells replicating DNA to RNA so that proteins can be produced.
The process involves many different steps that needed to be clearly shown in an interactive, 3D and creative manner.

The effort and attention to detail that the Year 12 put into their work was outstanding. Along with this, some students were extremely creative such as Cooper Twemlow who did a 3D presentation that turned around. Brad Brincat made a game where you followed his directions step by step to work through the process. Sienna Limpic made a model cell and showed the processes occurring on the ball shaped cell.
