NEWS FLASH!!!!

After two COVID years out of the Kitchen, four Year 10 students cooked up a ‘storm’… 85 meals on Friday, 13 May.

To see Lachlan Bell, Sienna Agnew, Megan Pieschel and Natalie Payne in action, out of their comfort zone, was the highlight of a big day.  The students are to be commended for their polite, respectful, welcoming and generous nature.  Their cooking skills have been honed to a razor-sharp edge:  peeling apples, frying sausages, chopping vegetables and of course a mountain of washing and wiping up and sweeping the floor as well.  I’m sure they all returned home with many stories to share.  Their hard work ensured that a number of ‘at risk’ local folk received some companionship and a hot meal.  Christianity in action!
