PDHPE First Aid Course
On Friday, 6 May, Year 11 PDHPE students completed their Provide First Aid course at school. The day was both enjoyable and informative, allowing students the opportunity to develop their CPR and first aid skills. Many thanks to Warren Keegan at Coastal First Aid for coming in to run the course for us.

Community & Family Studies – Group Activity
During our study of Individuals and Groups, we are looking at roles within groups and group cohesion. To see these things in a practical activity, we had a group challenge of building a spaghetti tower. The aim was to work together and build the highest tower. It was an interesting activity with people adopting differing roles at different points and different levels of group cohesion. Two groups had excellent towers with others seemingly all about the process. Either way, it was a great learning opportunity that students enjoyed.
