7-6 Science
7SCI6 have been learning about techniques they can use to separate a mixture. Students were given a mixture of sand, iron and beads, a sieve and a magnet. Students had to choose which separation methods would work best to have the mixture separated into its three components. Students used the magnet to remove the iron from the mixture and the sieve to remove the beads from the mixture. It was great to see students engaged and using their problem solving skills!
