Year 11 Business Studies
Year 11 Business Studies students have been very busy in class learning how to write a business plan for their virtual businesses. They created a fun day for the rest of Year 11 students, Year 10 students and teachers as customers with a variety of services in the hall.
Mia Collis, Isabelle Martin, Georgia Pratten and Josephine Stewart spent a substantial amount of time in collecting pictures of staff members from their youth for the Guess Who business. The customers had to guess who the staff were in the pictures. Guess Who was the most popular business and won the most votes on the day, 96, which was then calculated in their accounting activity after the trade show as goodwill.

Putt-Putt Bowling, staffed by Morrison Gray, Noah Harris, Brady Lambert, Conor Lawless, Ashton Molloy and Thomas Parsons was also very popular with the customers who enjoyed this business and won chocolates for their participation.

Fortnite 1 v’s 1 with Trent Gibney, Joel Power, Joshua Hughes, Jack Whyte and James Wright had a very niche market with some very keen customers who liked gaming enjoyed this business.
Nerf Sharpshooter was the creation of Harry Miller, Darcy Eady-Muxlow, Ryan Martin and Matthew Spiteri. This business made the most sales on the day as the customers took on the challenge of shooting cup piles.

Bizza’s Passoff was constructed by William Hogan, Macauley Morris and Thomas Watman was very popular with the footy customers who tried their best to get the football and other smaller balls through the holes on a timber frame. This was Mr Gibney’s favourite business.
Carter Van Wyk, Joshua Williams-Malouf & William Hogan
The virtual trade show was very successful and all the businesses and customers had a fun day. Thanks to all the teachers who helped with the day and supported the Year 11 Business Studies students with their businesses.
