Senior Retreat
Last Wednesday 57 Year 11 students and eight staff left St Clare’s to embark on an epic journey to the 2022 Senior Retreat. We really did just jump feet first into our three days. After an hour on the bus, we hit our first challenge… to walk up North Brother Mountain via the summit path… The photos say it all.
We met and had a chat with Sam Clear, voiced our hopes and challenges, selected/looked after/and met our Clare Bears, mended some friendships, and made some new ones…. we trusted each other… had time together…. ate too much delicious food… got some sleep… found out that teachers are human… and celebrated Mass together.
On behalf of Year 11 and myself, I would like to thank staff members Dan Anderson, Brad Hart, Nicole Lovern, Callam Howard, Denise & Vince Ryan and Jason Koenig who gave up precious family time to be with us and really unite our year group as we face the Challenge ‘One Step at a Time’… “it’s just one more set of stairs and we are there” … of the HSC in 2023.
