Wednesday, 9 November was a special occasion for those at St Clare’s who best express themselves artistically and/or musically.  The Creative Arts Faculty hosted a ‘Creative Arts Showcase’ in the Josephite Learning Centre where artworks created by students from Years 7 through to 11 were exhibited.  The evening also showcased the 2022 HSC Visual Arts Body of Works.

The evening was a great success with many attendees enjoying the exhibition of visual artworks created using a variety of two and three-dimensional media, including printmaking, photography, painting, fibre art and sculpture.  Whilst patrons viewed the works on display, our talented Music students performed a range of vocal and instrumental pieces.  Many enjoyed the music whilst wandering amongst the art, whilst others took the time to stop and admire the music talent on display.

Well done to the staff and students involved in all the behind-the-scenes work and of course to the students who created the artworks and entertained us with musical items, it could not have been as successful a night without you!

We look forward to hosting this creative event each year from now on, so keep an eye out for the details in 2023.
