During Week 3 of Term 3, 68 of our enthusiastic and very talented young mathematicians competed in the Australian Mathematics Competition.  Each of our mathematicians were challenged as they completed problem solving tasks with some questions common throughout the Year 7-10 papers.  Congratulations to all participants.  It is fantastic to see young individuals willing to challenge themselves further than what is provided in the classroom.  The results are shown below; special congratulations must go to Oliver Collins who placed in the 97^th percentile for Year 7/8 students.

On a personal note, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff, students, and parents for their support over the past four years.  It has been an honour to lead the St Clare’s High School Mathematics faculty over this period.  All the very best to all involved in future Mathematic endeavours.
