St Clare’s would like to officially welcome a new addition to our community… our wellbeing puppy… and, as she was born during Advent, we have decided to name her Jesse, after the Jesse tree.

This tree has a special significance at this time of year as we prepare for Christmas.  It helps us connect the custom of decorating Christmas trees to the events leading to Jesus’ birth.  Each ornament hung on the tree symbolises people, prophesies and events leading up to the birth of Jesus and the practice brings families together to learn and celebrate this very special event on the Christian calendar.

At the beginning of next year, staff and students will begin the training program in preparation for Jesse’s entry to the school.
