The season of Advent relates to us preparing for the birth of Jesus.  It revolves around hope, faith, peace and joy as we prepare for Christmas.  With increased prices of food, electricity and rent many people in our community are in need.  A group of Year 11 students, Georgia Capes, Connor Clarke, Harry Miller and Karma-Anne Van Der Merwe responded to the needs of these people by volunteering at the Community Kitchen.  They are to be commended in the manner in which they conversed with these people, putting them at ease and reinforcing that the community of St Clare's cares for those in need.  St Clare's students continue to be the face of Jesus in the community.
