Headspace Taree has some great activities coming up in April!
Youth Week is from the 20th to 30th of April during this time we have the Youth Arts Festival 2023!
There are two more workshops in the lead up to the YAF23
Freeing Your Voice
Miller Voice technique training with Grace Callaghan
Two FREE 90-minute workshops at Taree Universities Campus for 12 – 24 year olds
Date: Wednesday 12th April
Times: from 10 am and again at 1pm (join one or the other)
Venue: Taree Universities Campus
Grace is a young local performer who recently travelled to New York to undertake training in the renowned Miller Voice technique. Grace is now qualified to teach this transformational method that helps to build confidence, harness the power of presence, and engage audiences.
These interactive workshops will help participants to learn about and respond to their unique breathing and vocal habits and discover new ways to free their voice. No experience or prior training needed...
All you will need is yourself, water, clothes you can move in and an open mind.
Numbers will be capped at 12 participants per session, so get in quick!

Song Writing with Jake Davey
Unlock your musical potential with our youth song writing and performance workshop! Led by Jake Davey, you'll learn the fundamentals of song writing and honing your performance skills.
With a supportive and inclusive environment, unleash your creativity and bring your musical dreams to life.
This is your chance to experiment! Who knows, you might find a new hobby or even discover a passion for music that could turn into a career.

Cost for this workshop is FREE and includes all materials.
This activity is only for youth aged 12 to 24 years.
