Recently Year 12 Student Ryan Martin and Former St Clare’s Student Evan Martin travelled to Spain as part of the Australian Futsal Team competing in the Costa Brava Cup.  The Australian team, the boys were selected in, participated in the U23’s competition as part of the four-day tournament.  Following on from the Round Robin Matches, the team played off for 3^rd place.  In a very tight and thrilling game the Australian Team won 3-0 and claimed 3^rd place overall in the U23’s competition.  The squad made up of mostly 18-year-olds, were competitive and should be proud of their achievement.
