It was great to celebrate St Clare’s Feast Day with the whole school community again!

St Clare has always been acknowledged for her strong will, humility, and desire to help others. We were able to come together and celebrate our patron saint through guest presentations, Mass and community activities.

Students began the day with Ignite Youth, who shared their life experiences and spoke passionately about the impact of God on their path. Students rounded out the day with a mix of stalls and games run by each Clare group. This included a photo booth, petting zoo, sack race and various other activities, which raised $2,100 for the Mary MacKillop fund which supports disadvantaged students from our community.

Many thanks to our Parish Priest, Fr Keven Corrigan, and Deacon Vince Ryan for their leadership during our mass. Thank you also to Ministry Coordinator, Jason Koenig, for preparing the celebration, along with RE Leader of Learning, Tanille Gardner for all her assistance.  A final thank you to Music Teacher, Amanda Brooks, and the music students who continue to enhance our community gatherings through their talents.
