Community Kitchen
This quote is very fitting "Never stop doing things for others. Sometimes, those little things occupy the biggest part of their heart." Year 10 Students, Irene Bijesh, Katie Tiedeman, Ailey Boere, Shae-Lee Lacey and Tia Moore certainly put smiles on the faces of the needy in our community. Not only did they prepare and serve a nutritious meal, but they also engaged with the people, giving meaning to their day. This commendable program, volunteering at the Community Kitchen, gives students a sense of the importance of helping those in need which is sometimes overlooked in our consumer driven world. Congratulations students, keep up this concern for others.
