The evening of Thursday, 14 September was a special occasion for those at St Clare’s who best express themselves creatively.  The Creative Arts Faculty hosted their annual ‘Creative Arts Showcase’ in the Josephite Learning Centre where artworks created by students from Years 7 through to 11 were exhibited.  The evening also showcased the 2023 HSC Visual Arts Body of Works.

The evening was a great success with many attendees enjoying the exhibition of visual artworks created using a variety of two and three-dimensional media, including printmaking, photography, painting, and sculpture.  Patrons had the pleasure of experiencing the talent of our Year 11 and 12 Music students as they performed a range of vocal and instrumental pieces along with entertaining group performances by our Year 11 Drama students.

To make the evening even more special, our Hospitality students worked assiduously to create a range of delectable canapes and desserts which they served to the attendees whilst they enjoyed the artworks and performances throughout the evening.

I wish to extend a very big thank you to the staff and students involved in all the behind-the-scenes work and as well to the students who prepared the evening appetizers, those who created the works of art and those who entertained us with musical items and dramatic performances.  It is so wonderful to be able to experience the creativity and talents of our students here at St Clare’s!
